FAS ... (named port of shipment)
The seller’s main obligations :
- deliver the goods by placing them alongside the vessel (e.g. on a quay or on a barge) nominated by the buyer at the named port of shipment or by procuring the goods ;
- carry out the customs formalities for the export and security-related clearances.
The buyer’s main obligations :
- take delivery of the goods according to the A 4 clause ;
- contract for the carriage of the goods from the named port of shipment.
